U.S. State Department Architect Visits Gibbs College of Architecture

Scott Davis, an architect for the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Buildings, Operations, Planning and Real Estate, gave a public lecture in the Buskuhl Gallery last Wednesday. The lecture included a brief overview of State Department history, as well as reflections on Davis’ experiences designing highly specialized diplomatic facilities throughout the world. During his time on the OU campus, Davis also reviewed fifth-year architecture students’ designs for a U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This studio project is led by Prof. Khosrow Bozorgi.
