“Aging in Place” Event Draws Huge Crowd
Over 90 people came to hear Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Aging in Place on Thursday, February 20th, at OU-Tulsa’s Founders Hall.
Social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and architects were among the audience that heard from faculty and practitioners on how to understand the needs of people wishing to remain in their homes as they age.
Architecture faculty member Dave Boeck spoke with Occupational Therapist Kendra Orcutt about their partnership renovating existing houses and building new dwellings for Aging in Place clients.
